  • Double room with wardrobe, chest of drawers, wall mirror, folding chair, fitted carpet and central heating
  • Bathroom with WC, bath, sink, illuminated mirror, shaver power point, storage heater and separate shower.
  • First double bedroom with Sealy king size bed with Egyptian cotton bedding. Bedside cabinets with lamps and clock radio. Towels also included in price.
  • Centrally heated bedroom with chest of drawers, wall mirror, dressing table mirror, fitted carpet and chair.
  • The front double bedroom overlooking the garden. Large double wardrobe and fully lined curtains.
  • Bedside cabinet with lamp, clock radio and locally made bowl sculpture.
  • King size bed and bedside cabinet.
  • The upper lawn at the front of the holiday cottage.
  • Game of chess and glass of wine in the garden on a sunny day.
  • The front door with large entrance mat, boot trays and coat hooks.
  • Large oak table and chairs which easily seats 6.
  • The well equipped kitchen with view out over the garden.
  • The living room with central heating and gas fire.
  • Comfortable seating for 6 with coffee table and 32in LCD TV plus FreeView.
  • WiFi is included and covers the house and garden.
  • An example of the sculptures we have in every room made for us by a local artist who lives next door the the cottage.
  • Another sculpture on the oak bookcase with Roberts HiFi with CD player, DAB radio, FM Radio and iPod dock.
  • The lower lawn in the front garden with table, parasol and reclining chairs.

  • View of the cottage against the Lake District fells and mountains.

    "As a group of six staying at Brackenber Cottage we considered the cottage as excellent, very clean comfortable rooms with attention to detail, by providing the little things like a torch and first aid kit; even though we had no need to use them it was comforting to know they were there. I would like to make special mention of the owner Nyree for her warm welcome and genuine care to make sure we settled in okay,as a group we appreciated that personal touch very much".
