The Cottage
The cottage has a large entrance hall with plenty of room to store your coats and boots. Outside is private parking for two cars. Read more here
There are two double rooms with king size beds and one twin room. All have egyptian cotton bedding which is included in the price. Central heating and fitted carpets ensure the rooms are nice and warm. Read more here
Overlooking the garden the living room has seating for 6, LCD TV, HiFi with iPod doc, WiFi throughout the house and garden, gas fire, storage heater and games cupboard. All electicity, gas and water is included in the price. Read more here
A large oak table is the centre piece of the kitchen which has cooker, washing machine, dryer, fridge, microwave, toaster etc. A welcome pack is included to get your holiday started. Read more here
A large family bathroom with separate bath and shower. All bath and hand towels included in price. Centrally heated and wall mounted fan heater. Large airing cupboard to dry wet clothing. Read more here
A two level lawned garden with patio area and seating for 6 on reclining chairs. A rear patio area has more seating and a large family size gas Webber BBQ for those long summer evenings. Read about the garden here

There is a large walk-in pantry with freezer to store all your food. Contains freezer, vaccum cleaner, iron &board, cooking pots and more Read more here
We have filled the cottage with works by a local sculptor who lives next door. He is available most days if you would like to see more or attend one of his courses. Read more here
The area is great for cycling and Malcolm is a member of the local CTC section whos rides you can attend. Read more here
We are on the very edge of the Lake District and have some excellent walks stright from the cottage door. Read more here
